MANNING HAUSBARN

This publication and package design exhibit was based on the historical German Hausbarn in Manning, Iowa.
 

The Hausbarn was originally built in Germany in 1640, then dismantled and relocated to Manning to represent the German heritage that Manning was founded on. This decade-long process was recorded every step of the way, and I had the opportunity to search for and organize the records.
 

The publication is divided into three books: Ideation, Implementation, and Impact, which are stored inside the laser-cut paper model of the Hausbarn.
